Solar Eclipse

Today is the day! A partial solar eclipse visible across Memphis. While we won’t experience totality (when the sun is completely covered), Memphis has 97% coverage and some fantastic spots to witness this astronomical event.

The Peabody rooftop, Memphis River Parks, and Overton Park are all great places to view the event.  Just make sure you have your approved viewing glasses ready!
