Holiday Shopping in a Pandemic

By now, we all know that the best way to avoid getting Covid-19 is to stay home. And if you are in a high-risk group, that is advice you should keep in mind if at all possible. Most of us are getting out periodically, whether for work or other necessities like grocery shopping. So what about holiday shopping? If you can’t or don’t want to do all of your shopping online (which is certainly the low risk alternative) then be sure to follow all of the appropriate social distancing, mask, hand-washing and other guidelines. And remember to shop local whenever possible in order to help our area’s small businesses. Gift certificates to local retailers and restaurants can make great gifts.  Shop local and online for the best possible combo!
