Happy 4th of July!

July 3, 2015

Fireworks

Displays of fireworks, such as these over the Washington Monument, take place across the United States on Independence Day.

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, and political speeches and ceremonies celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States.

The MRG Community would like to remind residents of the fire marshal’s rule to keep grills at least 10 feet away from buildings – which means no grilling on patios, decks, in breezeways, etc. Following pool and grilling rules makes things safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

Have a safe and happy July 4th Weekend!
