Fun In Midtown: Breakdancing, Art-Making and Fashion!
August 18, 2014
Looking for something different to do this week? Check out “Must Love Marisol!” — a party at the Brooks Museum of Art on August 21st from 5:30-9:00. The party is set throughout the museum, beginning with mobile retail fashion trucks on the plaza and continuing with Marisol-inspired art-making, DJ sets and breakdancing inside the museum, as well as a screening of Andy Warhol’s film “Kiss” in the auditorium. This one-of-a-kind event is free for members/$10 for non-members. A cash bar is available and the Brushmark Restaurant will be open until 8 p.m. While you’re there, check out the full Marison exhibit, which closes on September 7th.
