You may already use Instagram to take and share photos, but did you know it’s also a great tool to create personalized apartment decor? Instagram saves your pics to your camera roll, so it’s easy to download the images for a do-it-yourself art project. When you are out and about and find something that inspires you, snap a photo. Once you capture these images, you can apply a filter before you print your photos. Add these photos to your apartment wall for memorable, inexpensive art.

For quick decorating ideas, turn to Pinterest and Houzz for inspiration. Not only can you check out what friends are doing, but you can also search for a specific topic and get more ideas. Set up certain folders such as “balcony” or “apartment decor” to house these ideas in.
