The Benefits of Renting

Sure – home ownership has its advantages, but more and more people are finding that renting an apartment offers many of its own unique benefits. Here are just a few to keep in mind:

Apartment living offers flexibility.

1) FLEXIBILITY!  If either your job, your financial situation, your family status, or just your idea of where you’d like to live changes, you have much more flexibility to move when you are rent and apartment.  (Remember that MRG has apartments for rent all over the Memphis Metro and in north Mississippi.  Check out our many apartment communities here)

2) BUDGET! With an apartment rental, you don’t have to come up with a big down payment and closing costs on the front end, and expenses like property taxes, etc., on an ongoing basis. (But don’t forget that you SHOULD have renters insurance!)

3) MAINTENANCE! When you own a home, YOU mow the lawn, take care of the leaky faucet, or wait for the HVAC guy to show up when something happens to the furnace.  With an apartment rental, all of that is taken care of for you.  When something goes wrong, you just call your apartment community’s office and the rest is taken care of for you!
