Like a good neighbor? Be one.

Whether or not you pal around with your neighbors, when you live in an apartment, you are generally going to have neighbors close by.  One of the best ways to ensure you have good neighbors is to be one yourself.  If you’ve just moved in, introduce yourself.  See your neighbor struggling to get those groceries in?  Offer to help.  Be respectful of your neighbors by keeping noise down to a reasonable level.  If you are planning to have a party in your apartment, let your neighbors know in advance.  Better yet, invite them!
