Helpful Tips for Cleaning Your Refrigerator
June 19, 2012
The refrigerator is an important kitchen appliance that usually doesn’t get cleaned as often as it needs. Since it holds the food you eat everyday, you may want to look into giving it a good scrubbing. Check out these helpful tips for cleaning your refrigerator:
- Wash removable parts in the sink- Unless you really enjoy stretching to get the hard to reach places, the easiest way to clean the shelves and other removable parts is to put them in the sink. Soak these parts in warm water and baking soda for a good clean.
- Top to bottom– Start the cleaning process at the top and work your way down. This way, the dirty water will trickle down and not get on the parts you already scrubbed.
- Organize your food– When you’re done cleaning, organize all of your food items. This is a great time to get rid of old things that are out of date or spoiled.
